At 3 months, excessive contracture of the tubularized BMG was observed. In Group 2 animals, there was no evidence of epidermal lining on the luminal surface of the neourethra 1 month postimplantation. At 3 months, the urethral caliber was narrowed, although some discontinued epidermal layers developed on the luminal surface of the neourethra.
